Who would have thought there would be a Beauty Contest on Capitol Hill? No, they didn’t walk the runway or change from evening gowns to skimpy bikinis, but The Hill newspaper somehow managed to select the top 50 beautiful people in Washington. I read the list and viewed all the photos twice and didn’t see Hillary’s name or photo.  Hillary even wore a blouse that showed cleavage according to Tim Russert on Meet the Depressed to show she was womanly, but it didn’t impress The Hill.

Rep. Brad Ellsworth was #1 on the list.  Nancy Pelosi was #4. I guess those thousands of dollars for plastic surgery, botox injections and whatever else self indulgent people do, paid off.  Poor Hillary couldn’t make the top 50. I guess The Hill isn’t into pear shaped females or expressions that could kill from 50 feet.  This is just more evidence that Bill is not particular when it comes to women. He’ll do any women he can. They say the homely ones make better wives because they are so grateful.  I think that is cruel and mean-spirited. What do they say about homely men, nothing. Not fair…

It is up on the front page, above the fold, with the relevant political news. Yeah, I would place it as equally important as world peace, and the war on terror, wouldn’t you? Hey, beautiful politicians are hard to come by, so give them their proper respect.

O.K., everyone sing now, “There he is, Mr. America, There he is, My ideal.”

He would be healthy, physically fit and of sane mind. He would be intelligent enough to comprehend world affairs, have a sharp and quick mind, but use common sense as his barometer. He would understand economics according to Walter Williams, the renowned Economist at George Mason. He would know American History as taught before the politically correct crowd changed it.  He would be a true patriot in the fullest sense of the meaning, and a fearless warrior if need be, to protect and save this country.

He would believe in a higher power than man, but not boast or criticize others who believe differently.  He would be loyal as taught by the Boy Scouts. He would be faithful to his wife and an adoring father to his children, and a compassionate caretaker to the people he serves. He would put the best interest of the country ahead of his party and himself.

He would set the example for others to follow by his admirable behavior. He would leave the country in a far better place than he found it.

Where is this man? Who is this man? Please step forward, your country needs you!

* You may have noticed that I excluded including a woman in this request. The reason is the examples I have to judge a woman's ability to lead this country. Hillary and Pelosi tell me we must wait awhile longer. We want a great lady to lead us and when she comes along, she will get my vote. Neither of the above mentioned names are great or ladies.

Capitol Police Chief Phillip Morse ordered his officers to fall back and allow the protesters to exercise what he called "their First Amendment rights" to spray paint the Capitol steps with graffiti. Defending his actions, Morse said, "The graffiti was easily removed by the staff. It is our duty and responsibility to protect the Capitol complex, while allowing the public to exercise their freedom of speech." He even ordered his officers not to arrest anyone!

The war protesters were given access and leniency to deface government property. According to Family Research Council, public employees had to come in on their day off, at taxpayers' expense, to clean up the mess the protesters left behind.

The Capitol Chief of Police takes his orders directly from Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, one of the demonstrators' most outspoken allies!

Maybe Granny Nancy should have come in on her day off to clean up the mess!
